Developer Specialist - WebOps - Core Maintenance

About the Role

Google Operations Center in Bengaluru is looking for a Developer Specialist to join our WebOps Core Maintenance team. You will build responsive, scalable, and reusable front‑end components using modern JavaScript frameworks while ensuring optimal performance across devices and browsers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop responsive, scalable, and reusable front‑end components using Angular.
• Optimize application performance for speed and scalability on various devices and browsers.
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to translate visual designs into high‑quality code.
• Maintain code quality by writing clean, well‑documented, and testable code following Google standards.
• Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.
• Integrate and manage content through both traditional/coupled and headless CMS platforms.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 2–5 years of experience as a Front‑end Developer.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Hands‑on experience with Angular and related ecosystem tools.
• Familiarity with modern build tools such as Webpack or Vite.
• Strong version‑control skills using Git.
• Experience with state‑management libraries (e.g., NgRx).
• Ability to work with both traditional and headless CMS solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with a keen eye for detail.

Nice to Have

• Experience with additional front‑end frameworks or libraries (React, Vue).
• Knowledge of performance testing tools and techniques.
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG).
