About the Role
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is looking for a senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, automation, and management of robust AWS cloud infrastructure for enterprise‑grade applications. You will work closely with development and operations teams to deliver highly available, secure, and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain AWS environments using Terraform as Infrastructure as Code.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes/EKS.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using CloudWatch, Prometheus, or ELK stack.
- Ensure security best practices, network design, and compliance across cloud resources.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot performance issues and optimize costs.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 8+ years of hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch).
- Extensive Terraform expertise for provisioning and managing infrastructure.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong Linux administration skills and shell scripting (Bash, Python preferred).
- Deep knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes/EKS, including Helm charts.
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles.
- Experience with Git version control and collaborative workflows.
Nice to Have
- Serverless experience with AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
- Familiarity with IaC testing frameworks (Terratest, Kitchen‑Terraform).
- Exposure to monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
- Certification such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional.
