About the Role
Sonata Software is seeking a seasoned Frontend Developer to design, build, and maintain high‑performance web applications using React and TypeScript. You will work closely with product, UI/UX, and backend teams to deliver scalable, user‑centric solutions for our enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive front‑end applications with React.js, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES2022+).
- Implement state management using Context API, Redux or similar patterns.
- Integrate UI components with RESTful services and real‑time WebSocket APIs.
- Modernize legacy AngularJS modules where required.
- Utilize build tools (Webpack, Vite), package managers (npm/yarn), and automated testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library).
- Leverage AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate coding, testing, and code reviews.
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement of frontend engineering practices.
- Own features from concept through production support, including performance tuning and troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 5–8 years of professional experience with React.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of frontend architecture, component design, and asynchronous programming.
- Hands‑on experience integrating with REST APIs and WebSocket‑based real‑time services.
- Proficiency with modern build tooling, automated testing, Git‑based workflows, and production debugging.
- Practical use of AI‑assisted coding tools in daily development.
- Ability to quickly grasp existing codebases and collaborate across cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with server‑side rendering (Next.js) or static site generation.
- Familiarity with GraphQL and Apollo Client.
- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques (code‑splitting, memoization, lazy loading).
