Frontend Engineer – SDE III

About the Role

JobCrexa is seeking a passionate Frontend Engineer (SDE‑III) to design, develop, and own high‑performance, customer‑facing web applications. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end delivery of frontend features, influencing architecture, and ensuring a seamless user experience at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, reusable, high‑performance frontend applications using React.js.
• Own frontend modules from requirement analysis through design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Build reusable UI components and contribute to frontend architecture decisions.
• Integrate multiple backend services and REST APIs to create seamless customer experiences.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to translate business requirements into intuitive interfaces.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, UI issues, and complex technical challenges.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable, and well‑documented code.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Mentor junior engineers and champion best practices in performance, accessibility, security, and maintainability.
• Participate in technical discussions and influence system and frontend architecture.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 6–8 years of professional experience in frontend/web development.
• Strong proficiency with React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), Redux, and modern frontend tooling.
• Hands‑on experience with TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
• Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and integration patterns.
• Proven ability to design and implement reusable component libraries.
• Experience with performance optimization, accessibility (WCAG), and security best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.

Nice to Have

• Experience with GraphQL, Webpack, or Vite.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress).
• Knowledge of server‑side rendering (Next.js) or micro‑frontend architectures.
• Contributions to open‑source projects or active participation in the React community.
