About the Role
Join Google's engineering team in Singapore at the Asia Pacific HQ, Mapletree Business City. As a Frontend Software Engineer focusing on Web Standards & Chrome, you will design, develop, test, and deploy high‑performance web solutions that power billions of users across Google products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain core web platform components used in Chrome and other Google services.
- Implement modern web standards (HTML5, CSS3, ECMAScript) to ensure cross‑browser compatibility and performance.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to deliver end‑to‑end features.
- Write automated tests, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices for accessibility and security.
- Instrument and analyze performance metrics, driving continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years of professional experience building complex web applications.
