Jr. PHP Developer

About the Role

Zevriko is looking for a motivated Junior PHP Developer to join our growing team in Panchkula. You will work on building, maintaining, and enhancing web applications that serve our clients across various domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PHP‑based web applications and websites.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards.
• Debug and resolve technical issues, fix bugs, and improve existing features.
• Integrate third‑party APIs and work with MySQL databases.
• Collaborate with front‑end developers to implement UI components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration processes.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 2 years of hands‑on experience in PHP development.
• Strong understanding of core PHP, OOP concepts, and MVC patterns.
• Proficiency with MySQL (queries, indexing, stored procedures).
• Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with jQuery, Bootstrap, and RESTful API consumption.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Excellent problem‑solving and debugging abilities.

Nice to Have

• Experience with popular PHP frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony).
• Understanding of Linux command line and basic server administration.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
