TransUnion is seeking a seasoned Lead Developer specialized in React to spearhead the creation of reusable, high‑performance UI components for our real‑time data platform. You will work within a small, self‑organizing Scrum team, collaborating closely with product owners, designers, and backend engineers to deliver scalable front‑end solutions that serve a nationwide customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain reusable React components and libraries.
- Lead architectural decisions for front‑end performance, accessibility, and scalability.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce best practices.
- Optimize web applications for speed, responsiveness, and cross‑browser compatibility.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes into pixel‑perfect implementations.
- Drive continuous integration and deployment pipelines for front‑end assets.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure releases meet quality and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 10+ years of hands‑on experience in enterprise web development.
- Deep expertise in React, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
- Proven track record building reusable component libraries and design systems.
- Strong understanding of performance optimization techniques (code splitting, lazy loading, memoization).
- Experience with Redux or similar state‑management solutions.
