About the Role
UST is seeking a Lead Front-End Developer to drive the design and delivery of high‑performance, responsive web applications using Angular. You will work closely with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, QA, and product owners to create reusable, scalable components that power our global client solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain Angular applications (Angular 12+).
- Build reusable components, services, directives, and modules following best practices.
- Integrate front‑end solutions with RESTful APIs and ensure robust error handling.
- Optimize applications for speed, accessibility, and cross‑browser compatibility.
- Lead code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
- Mentor junior developers and champion clean, testable code.
- Troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 6+ years of front‑end development experience with deep Angular expertise.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3/SCSS.
- Strong knowledge of Angular CLI, RxJS, Forms, Routing, Services, and state management (NgRx or similar).
- Hands‑on experience with REST API integration and authentication mechanisms.
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as Jasmine/Karma.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
Nice to Have
- Experience with server‑side rendering (Angular Universal) or micro‑frontend architectures.
