About the Role
Digitize Matrix is seeking a skilled PHP and Laravel Developer to join our Pune office. You will design, develop, and maintain robust web applications, integrate APIs, and collaborate with front‑end teams using React.js. The role also involves WordPress customization, cloud hosting management, and workflow automation to boost operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP and Laravel.
- Design, build, and document RESTful APIs for front‑end consumption and third‑party services.
- Collaborate with React.js developers to ensure seamless front‑end integration.
- Customize WordPress themes and plugins per project requirements.
- Design, manage, and optimise MySQL and MongoDB databases.
- Deploy applications and manage servers on VPS, AWS, DigitalOcean, or cPanel environments.
- Create and maintain workflow automations using n8n, Make, Zapier, Pabbly, and cron jobs.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and improve application performance, security, and scalability.
- Version control using Git/GitHub and participate in code reviews.
- Assist with Nginx/Apache configuration, SSL setup, and domain management.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 3+ years of professional experience in PHP and Laravel.
- Strong understanding of MySQL; experience with MongoDB is a plus.
- Hands‑on experience building RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with front‑end technologies, especially React.js.
- Experience customizing WordPress themes/plugins.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean) and server administration.
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Experience with automation tools (n8n, Zapier, Make) and cron scheduling.
