About the Role

AROUND29 Digital Media Solutions is a fast‑growing global provider of digital services that partners with media houses and advertising agencies. We deliver white‑label web‑based marketing, advertising, directory, and fulfillment solutions worldwide. As a PHP Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain server‑side applications and APIs, ensuring secure, efficient, and scalable back‑end systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Write clean, reusable PHP code following OOP principles.
• Integrate MySQL databases and design efficient data models.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs consumed by front‑end teams.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and front‑end developers to deliver cohesive web solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Support deployment activities and maintain comprehensive documentation.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 3-5 years of professional experience in PHP development.
• Strong grasp of OOP concepts and design patterns.
• Proficiency with MySQL and relational database design.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Laravel or Symfony frameworks.
• Knowledge of caching mechanisms (Redis, Memcached).
• Understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
