About the Role
PPFAS Mutual Fund is seeking a motivated PHP Laravel Developer to design, build, and maintain high‑performance web applications that power our financial platforms. You will work closely with UI/UX designers, front‑end engineers, and product stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using the Laravel framework.
- Design and implement scalable, secure backend services and APIs.
- Collaborate with front‑end teams to integrate UI components and ensure seamless data flow.
- Optimize database queries (MySQL/Oracle) and improve overall application performance.
- Implement security best practices and data protection measures.
- Manage source code with Git and follow SDLC best practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Write clear documentation and uphold coding standards.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with PHP and Laravel.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, Oracle) and query optimization.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and issue‑tracking tools (Jira, Linear).
- Understanding of web security principles (XSS, CSRF, SQL injection mitigation).
- Degree in Computer Science, MCA, BCA, or equivalent.
