React JS Developer

About the Role

CRISIL, a leading global analytical company, is expanding its digital engineering team in Pune. We are looking for an experienced React JS Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement responsive UI components using ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Write clean, testable code following Test-Driven Development (TDD) or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices.
• Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, and backend engineers throughout the Agile SDLC.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize applications for speed and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Document technical decisions and contribute to architectural discussions.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 6-8 years of hands-on experience building complex applications with ReactJS.
• Strong grasp of Object-Oriented Design principles.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end tooling.
• Experience with TDD/BDD frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Cucumber).
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques and enterprise-grade architecture.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with TypeScript, Redux, and GraphQL.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG).
