About the Role
PwC India is seeking a seasoned cybersecurity professional to join our SOC team as a Senior Associate in the Cyber as a Service Advisory practice. In this role, you will lead the design and execution of security operations, incident response, and threat intelligence initiatives for a diverse portfolio of clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day‑to‑day SOC operations, ensuring 24/7 monitoring and rapid incident response.
- Develop and refine detection rules, playbooks, and automation scripts to enhance threat detection capabilities.
- Conduct threat hunting exercises and provide actionable insights to mitigate emerging risks.
- Collaborate with clients to assess risk, implement controls, and align security strategies with business objectives.
- Mentor junior analysts and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years of experience in SOC, incident response, or threat intelligence roles.
- Deep knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, ISO 27001, and other cybersecurity frameworks.
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight) and SOAR tools.
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation and data analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical findings into business‑friendly recommendations.
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud security controls (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GCIA.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipeline security.
