Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js & TypeScript)

About the Role

TechNova Solutions is seeking a seasoned Backend Engineer to design and build high‑performance services using Node.js and TypeScript.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable micro‑services.
• Design RESTful APIs and ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with frontend, product, and DevOps teams in an Agile environment.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and containerize applications using Docker.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize code.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of Express.js, asynchronous programming, and event‑driven architecture.
• Hands‑on experience with MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency in Docker and AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
• Knowledge of RESTful API design, JWT authentication, and security best practices.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and Agile Scrum.

Nice to Have

• Kubernetes orchestration.
