Senior Frontend Engineer

About the Role

HuntingCube, the AI‑driven vision inspection platform behind SwitchOn, is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to shape the next generation of high‑performance web dashboards that power real‑time quality inspection for leading manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise scalable React applications that visualise AI inspection results.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, backend engineers, and data scientists to deliver seamless, responsive UI experiences.
• Build reusable, modular UI components using React Query for efficient data fetching and state management.
• Ensure cross‑browser compatibility, accessibility, and performance best practices across all devices.
• Integrate with APIs, camera feeds, and edge‑device services to provide real‑time feedback.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 2+ years of professional experience building frontend applications with React.js.
• 1+ years of experience creating highly scalable, high‑performance web applications.
• Strong grasp of component‑based architecture, UI patterns, and reusable code practices.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Hands‑on experience with React Query or similar data‑fetching libraries.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to Have

• Experience with WebGL or canvas for visualising image data.
• Knowledge of performance profiling tools (Lighthouse, Chrome DevTools).
• Exposure to AI/ML concepts or working with edge devices.
• Background in manufacturing or industrial automation domains.
