About the Role

Join Google's engineering team at the Bengaluru campus (RMZ Infinity / Bagmane Tech Park) as a Software Engineer III, Full Stack (Google Cloud). You will design, develop, test, and deploy large‑scale, high‑performance software that powers Google Cloud services used by billions worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and implement end‑to‑end full‑stack solutions using Java, Python or Go on the backend and React/Node.js on the frontend.
Build, scale, and maintain micro‑service APIs on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, and GKE.
Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and site reliability engineers to deliver features with rapid iteration.
Write comprehensive unit, integration, and performance tests; ensure code quality through code reviews and static analysis.
Drive CI/CD automation using Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, and Terraform.
Monitor production systems, troubleshoot incidents, and improve reliability and latency.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years building full‑stack applications at scale.
Proficiency in Java, Python or Go for backend services.
Strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular) and Node.js.
Deep understanding of GCP services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, IAM).
Experience designing RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and micro‑service architectures.
Solid grasp of CI/CD pipelines, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), and automated testing.

Nice to Have

Experience with machine learning APIs or data‑intensive workloads on GCP.
Familiarity with Terraform or other IaC tools.
Contributions to open‑source projects.
Knowledge of security best practices and compliance (SOC2, ISO27001).
