About the Role
Version 1, a 30‑year‑old technology and transformation leader trusted by global brands, is seeking an experienced Technical Lead to drive AI‑powered applications for our customers in Pune. You will own the end‑to‑end delivery of generative AI, LLM‑based, and agentic AI solutions, shaping architecture, mentoring engineers, and ensuring cloud‑native scalability on AWS.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a cross‑functional engineering team of 8‑12 members, fostering Agile best practices.
- Design and implement scalable AI platforms leveraging Python, LLMs, and Generative AI models.
- Integrate AI services with React front‑ends to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Architect cloud‑native solutions on AWS, including serverless, container, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with product owners, data scientists, and enterprise clients to translate business needs into technical roadmaps.
- Drive code quality, testing standards, and performance monitoring.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Deep expertise in Python and AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain, etc.).
- Hands‑on experience building Generative AI and LLM‑driven applications.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services (SageMaker, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudFormation).
- Proficiency in React or similar front‑end technologies.
- Proven track record of leading technical teams and delivering large‑scale solutions.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with MLOps tools (Kubeflow, MLflow, Terraform).
- Familiarity with data engineering pipelines (Spark, Airflow).
- Exposure to industry‑specific AI use cases in finance, retail, or manufacturing.
