About the Role

ALTANSIA, a fast‑growing tech company based in Paris, is looking for a passionate PHP/Symfony developer to strengthen its web platform team. You will work on a responsive web application, delivering new features, improving performance, and ensuring high code quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse, estimate and implement new functionalities for the responsive web platform.
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs and asynchronous processing with RabbitMQ and Symfony Messenger.
• Maintain and optimise application performance, caching strategies and web performance metrics.
• Write unit and integration tests using PHPUnit.
• Collaborate with front‑end, UX, and DevOps teams in an Agile environment.
• Document technical decisions and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Strong experience with PHP 7/8 and Symfony 5 or newer.
• Solid understanding of RESTful services and API design.
• Hands‑on experience with RabbitMQ and Symfony Messenger for asynchronous tasks.
• Proficiency in Docker (containerisation) and basic knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Good grasp of Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with PHPUnit and test‑driven development.
• Awareness of web performance optimisation and caching mechanisms.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Symfony Flex, API Platform, or GraphQL.
• Knowledge of front‑end technologies (Vue.js, React) to collaborate effectively.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
