Junior UI Developer - React & Next.js

About the Role

EdPlatza Tuition is seeking a motivated Junior UI Developer to craft responsive, high‑performance web interfaces using React.js and Next.js. You will work closely with product designers and senior engineers to bring educational platforms to life for thousands of students across India.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reusable React components and Next.js pages.
• Implement responsive UI layouts adhering to design specifications.
• Consume RESTful APIs and integrate them into the frontend.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to define data contracts.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Optimize application performance for fast load times and SEO.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 2‑3 years of hands‑on experience with React.js and Next.js.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Understanding of RESTful services and asynchronous programming.
• Good problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills in English and Hindi.

Nice to Have

• Experience with TypeScript.
• Knowledge of UI libraries such as Material‑UI or Ant Design.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library).
• Exposure to server‑side rendering and SEO best practices.
