PHP Developer

About the Role

CMExpertise Infotech Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a motivated PHP Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust back‑end services for our suite of web applications. You will work closely with front‑end engineers to ensure seamless data interchange and deliver high‑performance, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server‑side logic using PHP (CodeIgniter / Laravel).
• Design, implement, and consume RESTful APIs (JSON).
• Write clean, reusable, and testable code following OOP principles.
• Collaborate with UI/UX teams to integrate front‑end components (HTML5, CSS3, jQuery).
• Optimize database queries and manage MySQL schemas.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 2‑5 years of professional experience in PHP development.
• Hands‑on experience with CodeIgniter or Laravel frameworks.
• Strong grasp of OOP concepts and design patterns.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful services (JSON).
• Solid MySQL knowledge and query optimization skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Docker or containerisation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of front‑end frameworks like Vue.js or React.
