About the Role
NES Technologies is seeking a seasoned Senior Full Stack PHP Developer with deep expertise in Laravel to drive the design, development, and scaling of our next‑generation web platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack web applications using PHP (Laravel) and modern front‑end frameworks.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs for seamless front‑end and back‑end integration.
- Develop responsive, pixel‑perfect UIs with Tailwind CSS and Vue.js.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes into functional interfaces.
- Architect and optimise relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) for performance and scalability.
- Lead code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers.
- Integrate third‑party APIs, payment gateways, and external web services.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies from planning to deployment.
- Deploy and manage applications on cloud environments such as AWS or DigitalOcean.
- Ensure application security following OWASP best practices.
- Contribute to technical documentation, system architecture, and sprint planning.
- Collaborate with React or Angular teams for cross‑framework integration when required.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 5–8 years of full‑stack PHP development experience.
- Strong hands‑on expertise in Laravel.
- Proficiency in designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Expertise in Tailwind CSS and Vue.js.
- Solid experience with MySQL / PostgreSQL schema design and query optimisation.
- Deep understanding of OOP, MVC, and SOLID principles.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and version control workflows.
- Familiarity with Docker, Linux environments, and cloud deployments (AWS preferred).
- Knowledge of web security – OWASP, XSS, CSRF, SSL.
Nice to Have
- Working knowledge of React.js or Angular.
- Experience with serverless architectures or Kubernetes.
- Exposure to automated testing frameworks (PHPUnit, Cypress).
