Senior PHP Developer

About the Role

Tracker Suite, a leading provider of task management solutions, is seeking a passionate Senior PHP Developer to join our Noida development team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining high‑performance, secure web applications using PHP and the CodeIgniter framework, while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust product features.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications with PHP and CodeIgniter (CI3/CI4).
• Write clean, reusable, and modular code following industry best practices.
• Architect, optimize, and tune MySQL databases, including complex queries, indexes, and stored procedures.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third‑party services such as payment gateways, SMS, email, and OAuth.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve performance, security, and reliability issues.
• Collaborate closely with Front‑end developers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and product managers.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 2+ years of professional experience in Core PHP and CodeIgniter (CI3 or CI4).
• Strong proficiency in MySQL database design and performance optimization.
• Hands‑on experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Understanding of secure coding practices and web application security.
• Good problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

• Experience with modern front‑end frameworks (Vue.js, React, or Angular).
• Knowledge of Docker or containerisation concepts.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
