About the Role

Join Google's engineering team in Singapore (Google Asia Pacific HQ, Mapletree Business City). As a Mobile Engineer (Android Platform & Ecosystem), you will design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions at Google scale, impacting billions of users across global Google products.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement high‑performance Android applications and platform components.
Collaborate with product, UX, and backend teams to define feature requirements.
Maintain and evolve core Android libraries and SDKs used across Google services.
Drive performance, reliability, and security best practices.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration pipelines.

Required Qualifications & Skills

5+ years of professional Android development experience.
Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
Deep understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack, Compose, and Android Architecture Components.
Experience with RESTful APIs, gRPC, and Protobuf.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Bazel, Gradle) and automated testing.
Ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
