About the Role

Join Google's engineering team at the Munich Engineering Center (Erika-Mann-Str.) as a Machine Learning Engineer focusing on DeepMind & Search. You will design, develop, test, and deploy cutting‑edge ML solutions at Google scale, impacting billions of users across our global products.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and productionize machine learning models for search relevance and AI‑driven insights.
Collaborate with research scientists to translate state‑of‑the‑art algorithms into scalable production pipelines.
Build and maintain large‑scale data processing workflows using TensorFlow, PyTorch, and custom C++/Python tooling.
Optimize model performance, latency, and resource utilization for real‑time serving.
Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and cross‑functional architecture planning.

Required Qualifications & Skills

5+ years of professional experience in machine learning, deep learning, or related fields.
Strong programming skills in Python and C++.
Hands‑on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks.
