About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Software Developer with 2+ years of experience in PHP-based web application development, Drupal customization, and WordPress development. The ideal candidate will manage the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality CMS solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain web applications using Core PHP.
- Design and develop Drupal themes and modules.
- Build custom WordPress themes and plugins; extend existing ones.
- Create responsive, user‑friendly sites with Elementor and WPBakery.
- Optimize website performance, speed, and Core Web Vitals.
- Implement security best practices for WordPress and Drupal.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Write clean, scalable, and well‑documented code.
- Design and optimize MySQL database structures and queries.
- Integrate third‑party APIs, payment gateways, and external services.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA teams, and project managers.
- Perform code reviews and enforce coding standards.
- Deploy and maintain applications on Linux/Ubuntu.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 2–3+ years of professional experience in Core PHP, Drupal, and WordPress development.
- Strong knowledge of CMS architecture, custom module/plugin development, and theme design.
- Proficiency in MySQL database design and query optimization.
- Experience with responsive front‑end frameworks (Elementor, WPBakery).
- Familiarity with Linux/Ubuntu server environments.
- Solid understanding of web security best practices.
- Excellent debugging and problem‑solving skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Drupal 8/9 APIs and Composer.
- Knowledge of RESTful API integration.
- Experience with version control systems (Git).
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
