About the Role
Snapscale is seeking a proactive Full-Stack Developer with strong PHP, AWS, and GCP expertise to join our IT & Development team in Greater Kolkata. You will collaborate with US‑based and offshore teams, handling everything from infrastructure maintenance to feature development for internal tools and WordPress sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure & DevOps: Maintain and improve AWS/GCP resources, manage Linux servers, configure Docker containers, and oversee backup & monitoring solutions.
- Backend Development: Write clean, scalable PHP code, enhance legacy applications, and build API integrations with third‑party services.
- Frontend Support: Implement UI enhancements using Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
- Database Management: Optimize MySQL schemas, write efficient queries, and monitor performance bottlenecks.
- Security & Compliance: Apply HIPAA‑aligned security patches, manage Nginx/Apache configurations, and ensure secure CI/CD pipelines.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 3–5 years of professional experience in PHP development (Laravel/Lumen experience is a plus).
- Hands‑on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS) and GCP (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage).
- Strong command of Linux administration, Docker, GitHub/GitLab CI pipelines.
- Proficiency in MySQL performance tuning and schema design.
- Familiarity with front‑end technologies: Angular (basic to intermediate), JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery.
- Understanding of HIPAA security controls and best practices for data protection.
Nice to Have
- Experience with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Cloud Functions).
- Knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation for IaC.
- Exposure to monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.
