PHP CodeIgniter Developer

About the Role

Skills Outsource Think Pvt Ltd is a fast‑growing technology partner delivering custom software solutions to European clients. We are looking for a hands‑on PHP developer proficient in CodeIgniter (or Laravel) to join our Bengaluru office and build scalable web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using PHP and CodeIgniter/Laravel.
• Implement responsive front‑end interfaces with HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular/React).
• Integrate third‑party APIs such as Google, Facebook, eBay, and payment gateways.
• Write efficient SQL queries and optimise MySQL database performance.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and product owners in an Agile environment.
• Maintain code quality using Git version control and conduct code reviews.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues promptly.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 2+ years of professional web development experience.
• Strong expertise in PHP and either CodeIgniter or Laravel.
• Proficiency in front‑end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
• Hands‑on experience with Angular (latest) or React.
• Solid understanding of MySQL database design and optimisation.
• Familiarity with Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good debugging and problem‑solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Node.js for building micro‑services.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerisation.
• Exposure to automated testing frameworks.
