About the Role
Skills Outsource Think Pvt Ltd is a fast‑growing technology partner delivering custom software solutions to European clients. We are looking for a hands‑on PHP developer proficient in CodeIgniter (or Laravel) to join our Bengaluru office and build scalable web applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using PHP and CodeIgniter/Laravel.
- Implement responsive front‑end interfaces with HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular/React).
- Integrate third‑party APIs such as Google, Facebook, eBay, and payment gateways.
- Write efficient SQL queries and optimise MySQL database performance.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and product owners in an Agile environment.
- Maintain code quality using Git version control and conduct code reviews.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues promptly.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 2+ years of professional web development experience.
- Strong expertise in PHP and either CodeIgniter or Laravel.
- Proficiency in front‑end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
- Hands‑on experience with Angular (latest) or React.
- Solid understanding of MySQL database design and optimisation.
- Familiarity with Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
- Good debugging and problem‑solving skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Node.js for building micro‑services.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerisation.
- Exposure to automated testing frameworks.
