Senior React Native Engineer (Mobile)

About the Role

Kake is building a next‑generation fintech platform that reaches millions of users across India. We are looking for a Senior React Native Engineer to lead the development of high‑performance, scalable mobile experiences for both Android and iOS, working fully remotely while collaborating with product, design, and backend teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain core React Native codebase for our flagship mobile app.
• Lead performance tuning initiatives, including bundle size reduction, lazy loading, and native bridge optimizations.
• Design and implement reusable UI components and state‑management patterns (Redux, MobX, or Context API).
• Integrate RESTful and GraphQL services, handling authentication, offline sync, and error handling.
• Collaborate with iOS/Android engineers to write native modules when required.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, Bitrise) and enforce automated testing (Jest, Detox).
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to uphold code quality standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years focused on React Native.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern ES6+ features.
• Deep understanding of mobile app lifecycle, native bridge, and performance profiling tools.
• Experience with state‑management libraries (Redux, MobX) and navigation solutions (React Navigation).
• Hands‑on experience with native iOS/Android modules, push notifications, and deep linking.
• Proven ability to design scalable architecture and write unit/integration tests.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Flutter or native Swift/Kotlin development.
• Knowledge of micro‑frontend patterns for mobile.
• Experience in fintech or payments domain.
