React Native Developer (7+ Years) – Retail & E‑commerce

About the Role

Innova ESI is seeking a seasoned React Native Developer to lead the development of high‑performance mobile applications for the retail, e‑commerce, and quick‑commerce segments. You will work closely with product, UI/UX, and backend teams to deliver seamless, customer‑centric experiences across Android and iOS.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable React Native applications for B2C retail and quick‑commerce platforms.
• Implement state management solutions using Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or Context API.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, handle JSON payloads, and ensure optimal network performance.
• Collaborate with Android Studio and Xcode teams to manage build pipelines, code signing, and app store releases.
• Write clean, testable code and enforce best practices through code reviews and Git branching strategies.
• Monitor app performance, debug issues, and apply optimisations for memory, CPU, and battery usage.
• Implement mobile security best practices, including secure storage and authentication flows.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 7+ years of professional software/mobile development experience.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with React Native, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of React Native architecture, hooks, navigation, and component lifecycle.
• Proficiency with state‑management libraries such as Redux/Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or Context API.
• Solid experience with REST APIs, JSON, and asynchronous data handling.
• Hands‑on experience with Android Studio, Xcode, Metro bundler, and React Native debugging tools.
• Good command of Git, branching models, and code‑review workflows.
• Experience integrating Firebase services (push notifications, analytics, crash reporting).
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and mobile security knowledge.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to native module development (Java/Kotlin or Swift/Objective‑C).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps (Fastlane, Bitrise).
• Understanding of payment gateways and third‑party SDKs in e‑commerce.
