About the Role
Albertsons Companies India is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Bengaluru Capability Center. You will design, develop, and maintain cloud‑native services that power one of the largest grocery retailers in the United States. This role works closely with global product owners, data scientists, and UI teams to deliver high‑performance, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and deploy Java‑based microservices on AWS using Spring Boot.
- Drive containerization strategy with Docker and orchestration on Kubernetes.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions) for automated testing and release.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define APIs, data models, and integration patterns.
- Mentor junior engineers and champion best practices in code quality, security, and performance.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, primarily in Java.
- Strong expertise in Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservice architecture.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda).
- Proficiency in container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
