About the Role
TransUnion is looking for an experienced Senior Web Developer to join our Pune team. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using PHP, Laravel, and MySQL, while collaborating closely with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain high‑performance web applications using Laravel.
- Develop and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Design efficient database schemas and write optimized MySQL queries.
- Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex issues to ensure platform stability.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years of professional experience in web development.
- Deep understanding of MySQL performance tuning.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD and cloud environments.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
