About the Role
Bain & Company is seeking a motivated Associate Front-end Engineer to join the Retail Center of Expertise within the Bain Capability Network (BCN) in Gurugram. You will collaborate with global retail practice leaders, client‑facing teams, and product specialists to build intuitive, high‑performance web interfaces for proprietary retail analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop responsive UI components using React, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Translate product and analytics requirements into clean, reusable front‑end code.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate RESTful APIs and ensure seamless data flow.
- Maintain code quality through code reviews, unit testing (Jest), and adherence to best practices.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Contribute to UI/UX discussions, providing feedback on usability and performance.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- 2‑4 years of professional experience building web applications with JavaScript/React.
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern front‑end tooling (Webpack, Babel, npm).
- Experience with TypeScript and state management libraries such as Redux.
