About the Role
Zensar Technologies is looking for an experienced PHP Developer to join our Pune Division. You will build high‑performance single‑page applications and robust backend services using Angular, PHP frameworks, Oracle, and Azure DevOps within an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and QA to translate business requirements into end‑to‑end solutions.
- Design and develop Angular SPA components with reusable code and state management.
- Implement server‑side modules using PHP (Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony) and expose RESTful APIs.
- Optimize Oracle and SQL queries for performance and scalability.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, handling build, test, and release automation.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and apply timely fixes.
- Document technical designs, deployment guides, and support cloud deployments on Azure (and optionally AWS).
- Mentor junior developers and champion best practices in coding, testing, and security.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years of full‑stack development experience with PHP and modern front‑end technologies.
- Strong hands‑on expertise in Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive UI design.
- Proficiency in PHP frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, and Symfony.
- Deep knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL, SQL optimization, and relational database design.
- Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and version control.
- Solid understanding of REST/Microservices architecture.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and teamwork skills.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to AWS cloud services.
- Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes for containerization.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (PHPUnit, Jasmine/Karma).
