Cyber Security Analyst L3

About the Role

Wipro is looking for a skilled Cyber Security Analyst L3 to join our Hyderabad security operations centre. You will be the frontline defender, handling escalated alerts, investigating incidents, and performing vulnerability scans to protect our digital assets and ensure compliance with global security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts, triage escalated incidents, and prevent potential intrusions.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis, prepare detailed incident reports, and support compliance audits.
• Perform regular vulnerability scans, analyse findings, and recommend remediation actions.
• Integrate and tune threat intelligence feeds to improve detection capabilities.
• Collaborate with internal teams, maintain risk registers, and assist in audit preparations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 3‑5 years of experience in security operations, incident response, or related fields.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and identity governance.
• Proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, or similar) for log correlation.
• Strong understanding of vulnerability management tools (Qualys, Nessus, etc.).
• Familiarity with threat intelligence sources and security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH.
