About the Role
As a Frontend Developer you will own end‑to‑end feature delivery for a high‑impact product used by thousands of educators. You will work closely with product managers and designers to translate requirements into clean, performant UI and see your code ship fast.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain production‑ready frontend features using React and modern JavaScript.
- Translate product specs into responsive, reusable UI components with minimal back‑and‑forth.
- Integrate with REST APIs and manage async data flows for scheduling, payments and reporting.
- Debug and resolve UI issues across browsers and devices, focusing on root‑cause fixes.
- Take full ownership from development through release and post‑launch monitoring.
- Continuously improve performance, accessibility and code quality.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 3‑5 years of professional experience building web applications.
- Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5 and CSS3.
- Hands‑on experience with RESTful APIs, state management (e.g., Redux, Context API).
- Good understanding of browser compatibility, performance tuning and accessibility standards.
- Version control using Git; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
Nice to Have
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Testing frameworks such as Jest or React Testing Library.
- Knowledge of GraphQL or WebSockets.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and server‑less concepts.
