React & Microfrontend Developer

About the Role

Ascendion India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a seasoned React & Microfrontend (MFE) Developer to join our Bengaluru office. You will be responsible for building high‑performance, scalable web applications using modern React practices and MFE architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable front‑end applications using React and Microfrontend patterns.
• Collaborate with product, UI/UX, and backend teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure application performance, responsiveness, and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Identify bottlenecks, debug issues, and implement robust fixes.
• Maintain code quality through linting, unit testing, and continuous integration.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 7‑9 years of professional front‑end development experience.
• Strong expertise in React, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Deep understanding of Microfrontend architecture and its implementation.
• Experience with modern build tools (Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficient with Git version control and collaborative workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

Nice to Have

• Experience with TypeScript, Redux, or Zustand.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) for front‑end deployments.
